Chandigarh, March 26, 2013: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today extended his warm greetings to the people of Punjab on the eve of Holi- The festival of colours.
In a message, the Chief Minister said that this festival has a special significance in our centuries-old culture that propagated the unity of mankind, tolerance and compassion. Celebrating such festivals not only strengthen the bonds of the communal harmony in the society but also inculcate the eternal social and moral values amongst the people, added Badal.
The Chief Minister appealed the people to celebrate this joyous occasion in unison with religious fervor and gaiety rising above of the petty considerations of caste, creed and colour.
