Punjab Education Department’s enrollment drive as well as online education gained momentum on Singla’s direction
The latest technology of online education is being used
Chandigarh: Punjab school education department has accelerated the drive for providing online education to the students along with enrollment campaign for the new academic session.
On the instructions of the school education minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla and under the leadership of educations secretary Mr. Krishan Kumar, teachers have started online classes from April 1 due to the closure of the school and now process of online learning has further accelerated along the admissions process.
According to a spokesperson of the school education department, various online video apps are being used by teachers to ensure the education of students due to the epidemic of Covid-19. The latest technology of online education is being used to ensure the education of around 25 lakh students of government schools. Teachers are creating WhatsApp groups of students to take classes on the 'Zoom App' as well as using the 'Educare App'. They are sending online assignments to students to enhance their learning ability. Enrollment for the new academic session is being done with the help of Google Forms. At the same time the teachers are going door to door to provide books to the students.
