Punjab Exports Conclave 2022 “Enhancing Punjab’s Export Share”
The objective of this conference is to explore, discuss key exports related factors & issues that, if addressed, may help in enhancing the state's exports.

Ludhiana, March 28, 2022: Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) Punjab Chapter is organising an “Punjab Exports Conclave 2022” with a theme – “Enhancing Punjab’s Export Share” on 28th March (7.15 pm to 9.30 pm) at Hotel Park Plaza, Ludhiana.
Exports play a critical role in the economic growth of any country. The Government of India is also actively undertaking Policy Reforms, with an aim to become a USD 5 trillion economy in the next couple of years. For a State like Punjab, its contribution toward India’s overall exports stands only at around (only) 4 %. To improve its export contribution, the MSME’s in Punjab need to be more innovative, research oriented, exploring new markets and the State Government should also support MSME’s by offering supportive export oriented policies or schemes.
According to available information, the objective of this conference is to explore, discuss key exports related factors & issues that, if addressed, may help in enhancing the state's exports. Experts from the field of exports, prominent industrialists, academics and finance will join during the session. Suvidh Shah, ITS ,Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) Ludhiana will join as Chief Guest during the session along with Senior Officials from EXIM Bank and will also be interacting and sharing their views with the participating delegates.
