Punjab government directs departments to send reports regularly

Chandigarh, September 20, 2012: Punjab Government has directed all departments to sought out all complaints of people time bound so that people do not face any difficulties in government offices.

Disclosing this Punjab Government spokesperson said that Financial Commissioners, Principal Secretaries and Administrative Secretaries are directed to submit reports on quarterly and monthly basis regarding settlement of complaints of people. Officials should ensure that these reports are sent by till 10th of every month. 

According to government official it has come to notice that these reports are not sent regularly therefore reports do not reach chief minister timely. All Department heads, deputy commissioners, heads of the corporations and Boards are directed to immediately send these reports.

Spokesperson said that as per SAD-BJP government's main motto 'Raj Nahi Sewa' all government officials are strictly instructed to solve complaints of peoples on top priority.
