Chandigarh, 16 December 2024: Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator (UT) Chandigarh presented a memento to founders of Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO)- The Women and Child Care Welfare Foundation (WCCWF) Jasbeer Kaur and Kamaljeet Singh.The event was held at Law Bhawan, Sec 37, Chandigarh.
The Guest of Honor on the occasion was Sanjay Tandon, Member BJP National Executive & Co In Charge ,BJP (Himachal Pradesh).
The felicitation took place at an event organised by Chandigarh Senior Citizens' Association on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons 2024.
It is noteworthy that WCCWF under its social initiatives also focuses on the well-being of senior citizens by celebrating festivals with them and distributing essential items such as medicines, clothes, and food. A key milestone in their efforts is the operation of a charitable hospital in District Ropar, serving 82 surrounding villages and providing affordable healthcare.
Through their vision and dedication, Jasbeer Kaur and Kamaljeet Singh continue to inspire and drive meaningful change, spreading hope and improving lives.
