Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria visits RCF Kapurthala

Kapurthala, December 18, 2024: Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab today made a brief visit to Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala where he was welcomed by S.S.Mishra General Manager and other Senior Officers of RCF.
Amit Kumar Panchal, Deputy Commissioner and Gaurav Toora, SSP of Kapurthala were also present on the occasion. He was accompanied by his wife, Anita Kataria.
On arrival at RCF, Kataria was accorded Guard of Honour by contingent of Punjab Police. Later, he made a round of RCF workshop where he was apprised of coach manufacturing processes. He examined the fabrication of coach components and various types of coaches, the manufacturing of which are targeted for substantial production in next fiscal.
Mishra, GM RCF explained the manufacturing process to Governor in detail and elaborated on core issues pertaining to present production output and manufacturing of new types of coaches in next fiscal.
Kataria appreciated RCF’s contribution in making Indian Railways attuned to world standards and stressed upon RCF to work hard to conserve its apex position in designing and manufacturing.
