Ludhiana, June 4, 2019: Today, second consecutive meeting took place between Punjab Local Government Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu and Architects for expediting online approval of building maps .
The meeting was held in Chandigarh.
So far about 4,100 maps have been approved in Punjab and more are in progress. One of the major Causes of worry was why Ludhiana like bigger cities got approved lesser maps proportionally as compared to towns such as Barnala and Kharar.
Meeting was attended by Principal Secretary to LG, Director LG, Commissioner MCL, representative of software company ABM, senior planners from head office, Chairman IIA Punjab Ar Sanjay Goel, Secy IIA Punjab Ar Pritpal Singh Ahluwalia and engineers.
Ongoing minor problems in e-naksha were discussed minutely and on the spot solutions were provided.
Once fully implemented online approvals will be one of the biggest achievement of LG Punjab, said Ar Sanjay Goel in Ludhiana while speaking to this correspondent.
He added LG Minister expressed gratitude to IIA for supporting Govt initiatives.
