Punjab News- Grievances of industrialists to be addressed on priority, Mittal

Chandigarh, October 7, 2013: Madan Mohan Mittal, Industries and Commerce Minister, Technical Education and Parliamentary Affairs Punjab today said that priority would be given to resolve the issues, problems and grievances pertaining to industrial sector and industry friendly atmosphere will be ensured for industrial growth in the state. According to available information with www.cityairnews.com he said that despite hurdles laid by centre government to scuttle Punjab's industrial development, the state is witnessing massive growth in this sector, which could be assessed by the recent visit of TATA Group and interest shown by other big industrial groups.

After assuming the charge as Industries and Commerce Minister, Mittal categorically said that illegal mining, if any, would be dealt with heavy hand and punitive action would be taken against the illegal miners.
He said that in consultation with industrialists and all the stake holders, the SAD-BJP government has announced its industrial policy, still we are open to all kinds of suggestions.
Mittal said the SAD-BJP Government has provided various incentives in the recently announced industrial policy. He added that the big industrial houses are keen to invest in the state making the SAD-BJP government’s dream of making state the most preferred industrial destination become alive.
