Students selected during various placement drives in the last week at Guru Kashi University, with authorities.
Talwandi Sabo, September 28, 2013: Students with sound technical qualities and with good communication skills can have better place in the corporate world stated Dr N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University.
In the last week Guru Kashi University organised various placement drives in which 3 different companies visited Guru Kashi University Campus and selected 25 students for Technical, Non Technical and HR profiles. Pact Solutions a UK based Multi National Company, One-Infotech and Techi Technology both are based on Mohali, selected the students during the placement week. Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal, Dean academics of the varsity said that whole process of the selection was divided in 4 parts namely written test, group discussion, technical interview followed by the HR (Human Resource) round.
Karanjeev Singh, Training & Placement Officer of Guru Kashi University said that selected students will work as web developer on android mobile applications and I-Phone applications which is the highly demanded software technology in telecommunication now-a-days.
Dr. N.S Malhi congratulated the selected students and lauded the efforts of training and placement department.
