PUNJAB NEWS-Punjab to collect details regarding missing persons of state in Uttarakhand

Chandigarh, July 2, 2013: The Punjab government decided to collect all the details of missing persons in Uttarakhand during recent natural calamity.

A spokesperson of Punjab Government said that Home department today wrote a letter to all The Deputy Commissioners of the state to provide the details of the missing persons of their district. He said that a large number of people who were in Uttarakhand during recent natural calamity, from different parts of the country are reported to have gone missing  He said that therefore DC’s have been directed to provide the details of the missing persons from their districts who were in Uttarakhand during the above period of disaster and whose relative have informed that they have not returned.
