Punjab News/Meeting regarding traffic problems held in Ferozepur

Ferzoepeur, January 4, 2014: Manjit Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur on Saturday conducted a meeting regarding traffic tribulations faced by the residents of the city due to increasing number of vehicles. He also showed his concern over the smooth trafficking at railway crossing bridge.
Due to increased number of vehicles in the city, the traffic system in the city has been deteriorated. One person was killed on the eve of New Year due to lack of traffic awareness. Keeping this in mind, the Deputy Commissioner has started a crusade against those who do not follow the traffic rules and put the life of others at risk.
The Deputy Commissioner has ordered to challan such drivers strictly. He also decided to take a stern stand on the encroachment at the Amar Hospital road weird parking system at main bazaar market of Ferozepur city. He gave instruction to regarding these matters to the concerned authorities.
It is pertinent to mention that recently traffic lights were installed at Saragarhi Chowk but these lights have been proved for no avail.
