Punjab orders depts to send their e-mail ids

Chandigarh, October 8, 2012: The Punjab government has directed all the departments to send their precise e-mail IDs immediately so that a system could be put in place for better correspondence between departments and receipt of summons and notice of Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court.

While disclosing this here, an official spokesman of state government said that following the directions of Punjab and Haryana High Court, the state government had asked all the department heads to send their official e-mail IDs including the Boards and Corporations under them for sending of notice/summons through e-mail, but some departments have not send their e-mail IDs yet.
