Chandigarh, December 4, 2024: Due to the vigilance of Punjab Police, the plot to attack Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Sukhbir Singh Badal was foiled today.
Sukhbir Badal, who was declared Tankhaiya from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, was serving in Sri Harmandir Sahib, due to which Punjab Police had already made tight security arrangements. Due to this, the attacker who attacked Sukhbir Badal this morning was arrested on the spot and the plot to deteriorate the situation in Punjab was foiled, the credit for which goes to Punjab Police.
