Punjab to recruit 145 section officers

Chandigarh, September 26, 2012: The Punjab government has decided to fill 145 vacant posts of section officers in various departments.

Disclosing this here today, an official spokesperson of Finance Department said that the Finance Department (Treasury and Accounts) has invited applications to fill the 145 vacant posts of section officers. The number of the vacancies could increase or decrease as per requirement. He said that only the retiree section officers below the age of 64 years are eligible for these posts. He said that the eligible candidates could apply before October 5, 2012.

He said that all such candidates must submit their applications to the office of Director, Treasury and Accounts, SCO-110 and 111, Sector 17-C, Chandigarh. For furthur details of term and conditions, one could contact the office of Director, Treasury and Accounts, he added
