Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training give big relief to its Pharmacy students
Now the documents like Verified Diploma Certificate, Transcript, Detail Marks Card etc. will be available on a single click of sitting at home
Chandigarh, July 25, 2022: Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT) has given a big relief to thousands of students of Pharmacy Colleges/Institutions affiliated to the Board. Now students of the board, past and current academic session, will not need to knock at the board office in Chandigarh to get their various types of documents verified or to collect these documents. Now they will be able to download their concerned documents from the online system & using an application sitting at home. Students will also be able to print documents with QR code and digital signature.
Documents downloaded and printed from board prescribed authorized applications will be valid everywhere. PSBTE & IT Launches Student Friendly Dashboard Application. Its ceremonial launch was done on Monday on behalf of Board Chairman cum Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Education Mr. Rahul Bhandari, IAS. After this official launch, this facility has started online. Board authorities updated the detailed use guideline on its official website.
Board Secretary Rajiv Kumar Gupta, IAS informed that this software will enable pharmacy students to get their documents available. This will provide better services to the students and increase transparency, efficiency and reliability in the system.
According to Secretary IAS Gupta, with this online dashboard application related to the single window system, students will be able to get all their certificates. He said that this web application will be an option for pharmacy students to avail the facility immediately. Documents like Diploma Certificate, Transcript, Detail Marks Card etc. will be available to the students on the click of sitting at home. He said that this facility will not only help the students but various employment companies will also be able to verify the documents of the students from here in the near future. Every information related to this application will be available on the Board's website. Initially this facility will be available for the students who were registered in the academic year 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and passed out in May 2019, May 2020 and May 2021, but for the rest of the academic session students will also get this facility soon, he added.
Board Chairman cum Principal Secretary Technical Education Rahul Bhandari, IAS informed that the Department of Technical Education is regularly working to provide a transparent system, efficient management and effective facilitation. He said that to make the system student friendly, he is taking whatever is better from where he or his team is getting it. Also, wherever it is necessary to do better, they are getting it done with immediate effect. Mr. Rahul Bhandari clarified that e-governance is the top priority in the Department of Technical Education. It is worth mentioning here that more than 100 pharmacy educational institutions are running under the board in the state, in which pharmacy diploma admissions are done on the basis of 12th class qualification.
