Punjab State Football League match was played at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. On this occasion Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar was the chief guest and Balwinder Kumar Rana was the special guest.

Jalandhar, August 21, 2024: Punjab State Football League match was played at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. On this occasion Dr. Gopal Singh Buttar was the chief guest and Balwinder Kumar Rana was the special guest.
The match was played between the teams of Guru Football Club and Kurali Football Club, in which the team of Kurali Football Club won by 4-3.
On the occasion, Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that a high level game was demonstrated by both the teams but the team that got more chances emerged victorious. He said that the winning teams of these matches will qualify for the Punjab League Tier-2.
The District Jalandhar Football Association is of the view that the Punjab Football Association does a good job every year and the players are given an opportunity to showcase their talent.
On this occasion, Jagdish Singh, Amrit Lal Saini from the Sports dept, teachers of the college, non-teaching staff members and a large number of students were present.
