Punjab state inter district senior one day limited overs tournament: Fourth round matches  

Chandigarh/Mohali, September 22, 2021: In the 4th round of the Punjab State Inter District Senior One Day Limited Overs Tournament, played today , the details of the matches played today is as following
Faridkot vs  Ferozepur:  Faridkot won by 55  runs  (VJD Method)
First match between Faridkot and Ferozepur was played at Brajindra College, Faridkot, Faridkot won the toss and decided to bat.  Due to rain play match stopped at 11.55 am was reduced to 48 overs.  Faridkot scored 288 for 9 in the allotted 48 overs.  Naman Dhir scored 101 off 84 balls  with 11 boundaries and four sixes, Prince Balwant  53 off 57 balls with six boundaries, Sahaj 36, Harjeet 32 and Simranjeet not out 27 were the main scorers  for Faridkot.  Jasmeet Singh 3 for 37 and Ashish Malhotra 3 for 62 were the main wicket takers for Ferozepur.
Replying Ferozepur were all out at 236 in 44.3 overs.  Ashish Malhotra 100  off 120 balls with 8 boundaries and six sixes, Uttejit Hans  28, Kapil Arora 27 and Maninder Singh 23 were the main run getters for Ferozepur.  For Faridkot Prince Balwant Rai 4 for 27 and Ravinder Brar 2 for 40 were the main wicket takers.  Faridkot won by 55  runs  (VJD Method) and got 4 points while Ferozepur got zero.
Kapurthala vs Gurdaspur : match was got abandoned and both teams were shared 2 points each.
In the second match played between Kapurthala and Gurdaspur at Govt College, Kapurthala,  Kapurthala won the toss and decided to bat and scored 234 for 9 in 50 overs.  Abhishek Kumar 111 off 121 balls with 10 boundaries and 2 sixes, Jaspreet Singh 28, Damandeep Singh 20 were the main run getters for Kapurthala while Vaibhav Saini 3 for 42, Aditya marshal 2 for 31, Lovekesh Sharma 2 for 45 were the successful bowlers for Gurdaspur.
Replying Kapurthala were scored 16 for one in 5 overs before the play stopped due to rain.  The match was got abandoned and both teams were shared 2 points each.
Bathinda vs Sangrur : .   Sangrur won the match by 9 wicket.
In the 3rd match which was played between Bathinda and Sangrur at Bathinda, Sangrur won the toss and elected to field.   Due to heavy rain and wet ground conditions match started late at 1.30 pm and reduced to 23 overs each side.  Bathinda were all out at 79 in 20.5 overs.  Delove Kumar only the batsman who scored 26 off 32 balls with four boundaries for Bathinda.  For Sangrur Tejpreet Singh 3 for 11, Jaspreet Singh 2 for 16 and Gaurav markan 2 for 4 were the main wicket takers. 
Replying Sangrur chased the target by scoring 83 for 1 in 9.3 overs. Abhishek jalota 62 not out off 29 balls with 8 boundaries and 4 sixes and Gaurav Markan 12 not out were the main run getters.  Plash Khurana 1 for 15 was the successful bowler for Bathinda.   Sangrur won the match by 9 wicket.  Sangrur 4 points while  Bathinda got zero. 
Mohali vs Fatehgarh Sahib : MOHALI won the match by six wickets
In the 4th match played between Mohali and Fatehgarh Sahib at Hub Cricket Ground, Banur.  Fatehgarh won the toss and decided to bat and were all out at 147 in 47.5 overs.  Kunal Malhotra 62, Mohit Sharma 28, and Devi Chand Yadav 13 were the main run getters for Fatehgarh Sahib while Ashwani 3 for 19, Maninder 2 for 31,  Jassinder Singh 2 for 35 and Kunal Vishwa 2 for 12 were the main wicket takers for Mohali.
Replying Mohali scored 148 for 4 in 18 overs and won the match by six wickets.  Mohali got 4 points while Fatehgarh got zero.  Ramandeep Singh 103 off 39 balls with 12 boundaries and 07 sixes. Abhijeet Garg 15 and Prabhnoor 11 were the other contributors with the bat. Vikram 2 for 34 was the most successful bowler for Fatehgarh Sahib.
Ropar vs  Moga : Both teams shared 2 points each.
5th match between Ropar and Moga was got washed out. Both teams shared 2 points each.
Mansa vs Barnala : Mansa won the match by 6 wickets.
6th match was played between Mansa and Barnala at Jawahrke Cricket Ground Mansa.  Due to rain match was started late and was reduced upto 20 overs per side. After winning the toss Barnala scored 111 for 8 in 20 overs.  Manpreet Singh 57 off 51 with 6 boundaries and four sixes, Harshdeep Singh 15 and Aklesh Kumar 17 were main run getters for Barnala.  For Mansa Saksham Mittal 2 for 21 and Gurpreet Singh 3 for 26 were the main wicket takers for Mansa.  
Replying Mansa scored 113 for 4 in 19 overs and won the match by 6 wickets. Mansa Got 4 points while Barnala got zero.  Anmol Jain 37, Abhishek Bajaj 30 not out, Bhupinder Singh 24  and Randeep 12 not out were the main scorers for Mansa. For Barnala Harshdeep Singh 2 for 19 was the most successful bowler. 
Muktsar vs Fazilka : Muktsar won by 9 wickets
In the 7th match played between Muktsar and Fazilka, Muktsar won the toss and elected to bat and scored 173 for 9 in 29 overs.  Due to rain match was started late and reduced to 29 overs per side.  Muktsar scored 173 for 9 in 29 overs. They were helped in their cause by Mahavir Singh 23, Harjot Singh 25, Uday Kakkar  39, Kunwaldeep Singh 23.  For Fazilka Rahul Saxena 4 for 34  and Kovid Gujjar 2 for 29 were the main wicket takers. 
Replying Fazilka scored 114 for 9 in 29 overs.  Vijender jangu 22 and Kovid Gujjar  14 were the main run getters for Fazilka while harjot Singh 3 for 23 and Gursimran Singh 3 for 14 were the main wicket takers for Muktsar.  Muktsar won by 9 wickets and got 4  points while Fazilka got zero.
Nawanshahr vs Hoshiarpur : Nawanshahr won the match by 7 runs by VJD Method
In the last played between Nawanshahr and Hoshiarpur, Hoshiarpur won the toss and elected to bat and scored 109 all out in 39.1 overs.  Due to rain match was reduced to 41 overs each side.  Raman Arora 60 off 105 balls with 3 boundaries was the highest run getter for Hoshiarpur.  Dipatanshu  3 for 21, Jatinder Kumar 2 for 11  and Ujjawal  2 for 24 were the main wicket takers for Nawanshahr. 
In reply Nawanshahr were 51 for 3 in 20 overs before the rain came. Nawanshahr won the match by 7 runs by VJD Method.  Nawanshahr got 4 points while Hoshiarpur got zero.
