Punjab State TET examination conducted successfully 

Ludhiana: The Punjab State TET Examination was conducted successfully due to elaborate arrangements made by the Education Department Punjab. District Education Officer (Senior Secondary) Mrs Swaranjit Kaur informed that a total of 29 examination centres were set up for the smooth conduct of this examination.

She further stated that 7260 candidates (79.16%) out of total 9171 appeared in 23 examination centres in morning shift, while 9273 (79.46%) candidates out of total 11624 appeared in 29 centres in the evening shift. This examination was conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.

It is pertinent to mention that in view of this examination, the District Magistrate Ludhiana had banned the assembly of five or more persons outside the examination centres as well as use of loudspeakers within 100 metres of examination centres from 8 am to 3 pm today.

Accompanied by Education Department officials, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Jagraon) Mrs Neeru Katyal Gupta and Assistant Commissioner (IAS Under Training) Mr Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke took a round of several examination centres today and reviewed security and other arrangements there. ADPI-cum-Nodal Officer Mrs Karamjit Kaur Baath was also present on the occasion.
