Ludhiana, August 20, 2024: Punjab State Women Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill on Tuesday stated that the Punjab Government is committed to safeguarding women from crimes against them.
After meeting with Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal and other officials of Ludhiana Commissionerate Police, Gill addressed a press conference, emphasizing the government's duty to ensure women's protection from crime and any kind of exploitation. She also mentioned that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is making efforts to safeguard women's rights and address their issues and challenges.
