Punjab Teachers attend Five-day Teacher Training Workshop at CT University
CT University hosted a state level five-day teacher training workshop organized by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Punjab with the goal of educators with the skills to promote drug-free, healthy and culturally rich environments in schools and colleges. Teachers and professors from every district in Punjab participated in the program.
Ludhiana, October 14, 2024: CT University hosted a state level five-day teacher training workshop organized by the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Punjab with the goal of educators with the skills to promote drug-free, healthy and culturally rich environments in schools and colleges. Teachers and professors from every district in Punjab participated in the program.
Deputy Director Kulwinder Singh and Assistant Director Mr. Davinder Lote (Youth Affairs and Sports) were present. The workshop included activities focused on drug awareness, sports, culture, cyber crime seminar and the Swachh Bharat initiative. Participants took part in interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on exercises to better understand these important topics and learn practical strategies for addressing them in their classrooms.
Chairman Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Group Executive Dr. Nitin Tandon, Dean Academics Dr. Simranjit Kaur Gill, Director of Student Welfare Davinder Singh attended the workshop and emphasized its importance for the development of Punjab's youth. Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh highlighted the critical role that teachers play in shaping the lives of young people. They stressed the need for educators to be equipped with the knowledge and tools to promote healthy lifestyles.
