Punjab VS HPCA match was played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Earlier Punjab had won the toss and elected to field. Batting first HPCA was bowled out in their first innings for 354 in 96 overs. Baltej Singh 5 for 61 and Mayank Markande 2 for 68 were the most successful wicket-takers for Punjab.
Replying Punjab team was playing on 393 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 82 overs. Prabhsimran Singh scored 123 runs off 138 balls with help of twenty-one boundaries and one six and Abhishek Sharma scored 98 runs off 101 balls with help of nine boundaries and five sixes were the main run-getters for Punjab. Mandeep Singh unbeaten 62* off 123 with four boundaries and Anmol Malhotra unbeaten 23* off 53 with two boundaries were on the crease before the end of day's play today. Arpit N Guleria, M J Dagar, M J Dagar and Raghav Dhawan took one-one wickets each were the most successful wicket-takers for HPCA.
