Punjab Youth Development Board to organise free multi-speciality mega health check-up camps in state
Board chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra says one such camp to be held on March 7
Ludhiana: In a bid to provide best healthcare facilities to the residents, the Punjab Youth Development Board would be organising free Multispeciality Mega Health Checkup camps in the state. This information was provided by Punjab Youth Development Board Chairman Mr Sukhwinder Singh Bindra while addressing a press conference at Fortis Hospital, here today.
He said that the Capt Amarinder Singh led Punjab government is committed for providing best healthcare facilities to its citizens. He said that the facilities in government hospitals are being upgraded and healthcare facilities are also being provided to the citizens at their doorsteps. He said that the free Multispeciality Mega Health Checkup camps are being organised for this purpose only.
He informed that this camp would be organised at Gurudwara Baba Deep Singh Ji in Model Town Extension, here, from 10 am to 3 pm on March 7, 2020. He said that a team of expert doctors would be deputed to check blood pressure, diabetes, ECG, dental checkup and other diseases. Mr Bindra has appealed to the residents to take full advantage of this medical camp.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Dr Pinak Modgil, Zonal Director, Fortis, Dr Mandeep Singh Saini, Dr Jaspreet Singh Chhabra, Dr Paramdeep Singh Sandhu, Dr Sheffy, Dr Shefali, Dr Gursimran, besides several others.
