Punjabi artists honoured with prestigious titles at Punjab State Youth Festival

Everyone works to get appreciated or recognised in anyway way for their hard work and efforts. When it comes to the entertainment industry, there are various award shows which are conducted to thank the members of the entertainment industry for the fabulous work done by the artists to keep the masses entertained at all times. 

Recently, the Punjab Government organised an award show which was graced by who’s who of the Punjabi entertainment industry. The organised function was Punjab State Youth Festival which was held at Chandigarh University. Many celebrated and popular celebrities who have contributed massively to the Punjabi entertainment industry were awarded at the show. 
The artists of the industry after a certain point become icons of the youth. They get the responsibility to make the youth walk on the right path through their songs, films and other works. This is the reason why the Punjab Government is honouring these celebrated faces of the industry to motivate them to work in the same benefit of the youth.

The artist who were awarded include Satinder Sartaj, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Priti Sapru ,Sunil Grover, Roshan Prince, Kulwinder Billa, Mandy Takhar, Sargun Mehta, Satinder Satti, Surveen Chawla, Varun Sharma, Jordan Sandhu, Karamjit Anmol, Lakhwinder Wadali, Shipra Goyal, Satvinder Kohli, Maninder Buttar, Bunty Bains, Ranjit Bawa, Kartar Cheema, Sonu Sood, Jimmy Sheirgill, Gurmeet Singh Shera, Ihana Dhillon, Sonia Mann, Bobby Deol, Preeit Kamal, and Harhdeep Kaur . 

At the award show, the brown eyed beauty, Mandy Takhar was awarded with eminent Indian actress, the female vocalist with soothing voice, Shipra Goyal was awarded eminent Indian singer award where as Sonia Mann was also awarded with eminent Indian actress. Saab Bahadar fame actress Preeit Kamal also won award for eminent Indian actress. Bodyguard of Salman Khan- Gurmeet Singh Shera was awarded as eminent Indian celebrity bodyguard. 

Other than these, famous comedian and actor, Sunil Grover was the recipient of eminent Indian actor and stand up comedian; while Kapil Sharma, who is also a prominent comedian in the Indian entertainment industry now received eminent Indian stand-up comedian, actor and producer. Sufi singer Satinder Sartaaj was awarded with eminent Indian singer, songwriter, actor and poet. 

The award function Punjab State Youth Festival was held at Chandigarh University on 30th January, 2020.
