Mohali, March 25, 2025: Mohali witnessed a spectacular event as the Cinemedia Punjab Awards (CMPA) 2025 unfolded at Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Mohali, Jhanjeri. Unlike traditional award ceremonies, CMPA 2025 honored the technical experts, visionaries, and creative forces who work behind the scenes to shape the entertainment industry. Organized by Punjabi Film World in association with CGC Mohali (Jhanjeri), the event was a dazzling confluence of cinematic brilliance.
The star-studded evening saw luminaries like Yograj Singh, Pammi Bai, Harbi Sanga, Kulwinder Sidhu, Deep Sehgal, Muhammad Sadiq, Dheeraj Kumar, Ashok Masti, Amar Noori, Alaap Sikander, Sarang Sikander, Kul Sidhu, Jimmy Sharma, and Satwant Kaur, among others, adding glamour and gravitas to the occasion. The night came alive with electrifying performances—legendary singer Pammi Bai enthralled the audience, while Ashok Masti’s high-octane act left everyone spellbound.
Best Director Award was given to Maneesh Bhatt for his visionary storytelling. Best Producer Award was given to Suvida Sahni. Best Actor Award was presented to Yograj Singh for Rajni. Best Actress Award was presented to Kul Sidhu for Majhail. Best OTT Film was awarded to Gurmukh.
The awards also shone a light on the creative backbone of cinema. Gurpreet Ratol was awarded Best Dialogue Writer. Roma Rekhi was recognized as Best Casting Director. Ahmed Bhai won Best Sound Recordist. Rohit Dhiman was awarded Best Editor. Devgan Family winning Best YouTube Creator. PTC’s Lakshman Kumar being honored as Best Reality Show Director. With CGC Mohali as the epicenter of this grand celebration, the event proved that while stars shine on screen, the real magic lies in the hands of those who create it.
