Punjabi Lok Nach Camp begins at Lyallpur Khalsa College from 6th July
Jalandhar: Lyallpur Khalsa College is known for keeping and taking forward the legacy of one of the most entertaining dances, Bhangra. LKC aka Mecca of Bhangra is organizing Punjabi Lok Nach Camp from July 6 to 15 in its campus. A meeting regarding planning and execution of the camp was organized under the leadership of Principal Prof. Jasreen Kaur and Registrar Prof.Navdeep Kaur.
Principal, in her address, said that Bhangra not only entertains us but also keeps our body fit. This dance has gained international popularity. She further said that this camp is for all age groups and there is no registration fee for it. Dean Cultural affairs Prof.Palwinder Singh informed that team LKC organizes this camp every year in the campus. The primary objective is to keep Punjabis in touch with rich legacy of Punjab through Bhangra.
Dr.Bolina added that online registration process is going on and around 300 registrations have been done. However, offline registration will be done on 4th and 5th July 2023 at 5:00 pm at open air theatre in the college.
During this occasion, Bhangra camp 2023 poster was released by worthy Principal Prof.Jasreen Kaur, Registrar Prof.Navdeep Kaur, Dr.Harjit Singh HOD Maths and organizing committee.
During this event, Prof.Satpal Singh, Prof.Mandeep Singh, Prof.Onkar Singh, Prof.Kuldip Sodhi, Prof.Priyank Sharda, Prof.Ravneet Kaur, Prof.Sonu Gupta, Prof.Pooja Sonik, Prof.Priyanka Sharma, Prof.Keeratpreet Kaur, Prof.Neetika, Prof.Manpreet Kaur, Jatinder Lamber, Charanjit Channi, Jasonpreet, Sukhjeet and other members of the organising team were also present.
