Punjabis should grab opportunity for ensuring prosperity of Punjabis and progress of state by electing SAD-BSP government: Sukhbir Singh Badal

Ferozepur, February 11: Punjabis should grab opportunity in present election to ensure prosperity of Punjabis and progress of state by electing SAD led Government, this was stated by Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today.
Addressing different election programmes in favour of party candidate Vardev Singh Noni Mann in Guruharsahai, Joginder Singh Jindu in Ferozepur Rural and Rohit Kumar Montu Vohra in Ferozepur Urban, SAD President said that Punjab has already lost precious five years during rule of Congress Governments led by Capt. Amarinder Singh and Charanjit Singh Channi. He said they cannot afford to waste five more years by taking a wrong on decision on election of government. He said that it is only time tested SAD-BSP alliance which can ensure prosperity of Punjabis and progress of state as the people had earlier witnessed during earlier SAD led Governments headed by S. Parkash Singh Badal.
Lashing out at Congress, Mr. Badal said that instead of providing new facilities to people during last five years, it snatched away facilities which were already provided by Governments led by Parkash Singh Badal. He said that old age pension, Shagun scheme, Atta Dal scheme, free power to farmers for agriculture and free bicycles to girl students, all these were started by SAD led Government. He said that what to talk about increasing its share in these scheme, Congress Government stopped all these in the state and also stalled development works initiated by the SAD government. He said that the Congress government also discontinued SC scholarship scheme and more than 4.5 lakh students were denied right to education.
He said that during last five years Congress MLAs patronized gangsters in state and also patronized sand mining and sale of drugs
Badal said that while people have already seen how Congress had pushed back state by five years with its anti people and anti state rule, Aam Aadmi party led by Arvind Kejriwal is also proving itself to be anti-Punjab. He said that Kejriwal, who has failed to implement promises made by him in Punjab in Delhi, cannot be trusted by Punjabis. He said that Punjabis have already seen his anti state steps by demanding share in river waters of  Punjab, filing PIL in Supreme Court demanding stopping of Thermal plants of Punjab and even demanding registration of criminal cases against farmer who burn paddy stubble.
SAD President said that it is only SAD-BSP alliance which can work to bring back glory of Punjab. He said that apart from facilities provide by earlier SAD led Government, now after formation Government, SAD-BSP will provide 400 units of free power to all domestic consumers every month, will provide medical insurance of Rs. 10 lakh to all, will provide 33 percent reservation in technical Institutes to students studied in Government schools in and Punjab Government will bear expenditure of their fees. He also said that if anyone wish to pursue high education abroad or in India such students will be provided Rs. 10 lakh interest free loan with student card.  He said that apart from it, our government will provide Rs. 5 lakh loan without interests for youth for starting their own enterprises.
SAD President also promised that PGI like hospital will come up in Ferozepur and farmers whose land falls in border belts will be provided ownership rights.
