Ludhiana, January 23, 2018: Purnima Mehta, a Ph.D.research scholar from the Department of Climate Change and Agricultural Meteorology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), has been awarded INSPIRE Fellowship (Department of Science and Technology) for the PhD research proposal entitled, “Development of Agro climatic model for Prediction of Wheat Phenophases and Yield by using ICT tools.” Her major advisor, Dr.L.K.Dhaliwal, Head, Department of Climate Change and Agricultural Meteorology said that under the proposed PhD research, Agmet Wheat App will be developed.
Dr.B.S.Dhillon, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, and Dr.S.S.Kukal, Dean Post Graduate Studies, PAU, congratulated the student for this achievement.
