Moscow, 24 June (HS):- Russian President Vladimir Putin has called actions of Yevgeny Prigozhim of Wagner treason and backstabbing.

In his address on television, visibly angry Putin said that Russia will defend itself and repel this hostile move. Putin addressed the nation after Wagner forces took over parts of Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh.

?Those who have rebelled against the Russian Army and people will be punished for insurrection?, Putin said. ?Anyone who deliberately embarked on the path of betrayal will face inevitable punishment. The military has been issued appropriate orders, Putin said.
