Ludhiana, November 23, 2024: Radisson Blu Hotel MBD Ludhiana ushered in the festive season with its much-loved Tree Lighting and Cake Mixing Ceremony on Saturday. The grand event, held in the hotel's opulent lobby, brought together guests and staff in a magical celebration of joy and togetherness. The towering Christmas tree, adorned with shimmering lights and ornaments, set the tone for a heartwarming evening filled with festive cheer.
Speaking about the cake mixing ceremony, Executive Chef Upendra Kochar remarked, “This is not just about preparing a cake; it’s about coming together as a community to share the spirit of the season. Our rich fruitcake will undergo fermentation for about 20 days before being baked. It’s a delightful mix of dried fruits like raisins, red cherries, orange and lemon peels, black currants, dates, apricots, figs, and prunes, along with nuts such as walnuts, cashews, almonds, and pistachios. The addition of spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves enhances its festive flavor.”
General Manager Neelabh Chugh expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Our annual tree lighting and cake mixing ceremony have become a cherished tradition for our guests and staff alike. It’s wonderful to see the joy and smiles these celebrations bring, and we look forward to creating many more unforgettable moments this Christmas season.”
