Chandigarh, July 2, 2024: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today demanded Lok Sabha leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi to tender an apology to the entire Hindu community for abusing it's culture and ethos in the Lok Sabha.
Chugh said Rahul, holding a constitutional office, has degraded and defamed the dignity of it and has brought shame to the entire nation with his dramatics.
"Rahul Gandhi has insulted his constitutional office", said Chugh recalling the times when congress had indulged in brytal massacre of the Sikhs in 1984 and had subsequently failed to bring the culprits to justice.
By displaying pictures of Lord Shiva in a comical manner Rahul has not just disgraced Hindu culture and ethos but had hurt their religious sentiments, Chugh said.
Chugh recalled how Rahul had torn the copies of an ordinance publicly to run down the Manmohan Singh government. It explained his pranks and irresponsible public behaviour, he added.
