Rain and snow brings Himachal under grip of cold weather
Met Dept had already issued warning of rain and hailstorm in state
Dharamshala: The weather has changed once again in Himachal. Due to which the entire state has once again come under the grip of cold weather. Himachal Pradesh is experiencing Snowfall in the higher reaches since last night and rain in the low-lying areas since morning. Kufri, Fagu, Narkanda Khadapathar, the upper reaches of district Shimla, are experiencing snowfall.
The Meteorological Department had already issued a warning of rain and hailstorm in the state.
The average maximum temperatures decreased by 3 to 4 degree during last 24 hours whereas the weather in Dharamshala and Shimla has become very cold due to rains.
Dharamshala received 17mm of rain till 5pm followed by Shimla and Kangra 13 mm, Solan 6.0, Manali 5.0, Una 4.0 and Sundernagar and Bhuntar 2.0 mm of rain.
Today’s highest temperature in Himachal Pradesh was recorded at Nahan (21.9oC).
