Jalandhar, October 27, 2014: CT Institute of Technology organised an event “Mr Machinist” a challenge competition in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at its Shahpur Campus. There was active participation of 120 students participated from different institutes of CT Group of Institutions namely CT Institute of Engineering, Management and Technology (CTIEMT) and CT Polytechnic College (CTPC).
There were total three rounds in the competition theoretical as well as practical to implement the complete knowledge of the subjects.
The event was organised under the guidance of Er. Gautam Kocher (Head of Department). The competition comprises of three rounds, theoretical as well as practical to implement the complete knowledge of the subjects. Rajvir Singh of CTIT won the title of Machinist, Jagmeet Singh and Akshdeep Singh of CTIT was the 1st and 2nd Runner up of the competition.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Group Director (CT Institutions) and Mr. Vikrant Sharma, Principal of CTIT congratulated and honored the winners of the competition. Dr. Manoj Kumar said, “The events of such generic are very important to make students able to compete with ever rising competition in the outer world. Such events provide the platform to the students to use their practical skill and supplement their learning process beyond classroom to widen their horizon.”
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman of CT Group of Institutions stated, “Our organisation always welcomed the talented students those who always been on foot front to explore new things and ideas. I have great aspiration from the students as they would definitely prove their mark after they will enter the professional field.”
