Rajya Sabha member and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh conducted a road show across various constituencies in Ludhiana, advocating for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi from the Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency. The road show commenced from Sangeet Cinema Pratap Chowk in the Atam Nagar constituency and concluded at Bhagwan Chowk, Gill Road, Quality Kanda, Golden Park, Jeet Halwai, Itan Wala Chowk, Labour Chowk, Quality Chowk, Gill Canal.
Ludhiana, May 30, 2024: Rajya Sabha member and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh conducted a road show across various constituencies in Ludhiana, advocating for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi from the Ludhiana Lok Sabha constituency. The road show commenced from Sangeet Cinema Pratap Chowk in the Atam Nagar constituency and concluded at Bhagwan Chowk, Gill Road, Quality Kanda, Golden Park, Jeet Halwai, Itan Wala Chowk, Labour Chowk, Quality Chowk, Gill Canal.
MLA of Atam Nagar constituency, Kulwant Singh Sidhu; MLA of North constituency, Madan Lal Bagga; MLA of South constituency, Bibi Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina; Chairman and Secretary of Markfed, Amandeep Singh Mohi; District President, Sharanpal Singh Makkar; Lok Sabha in-charge, Dr. Deepak Bansal; along with all the leadership and volunteers, participated in the road show.
During his address, Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh criticized the central government, stating that the Modi government is built on a foundation of lies. He highlighted the unfulfilled promises made to farmers, such as low support prices and income doubling pledges, citing over 700 farmer casualties. Singh urged the public to hold the government accountable by casting their votes, emphasizing the need to elect Aam Aadmi Party candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi by selecting the broom symbol on June 1.
Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goyal mentioned that since arriving in Ludhiana, they have been conducting small meetings. The positive response received in these gatherings indicates that the public appreciates Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann's welfare initiatives. The constituents in the Lok Sabha constituency are enthusiastic about voting for the Aam Aadmi Party.
Lok Sabha candidate Ashok Parashar Pappi expressed gratitude for the immense love and support shown by the people and volunteers of Ludhiana, highlighting the significant turnout at the road show from Bhagwan Chowk to Gill Canal with Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh and MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu in Halqa Atma Nagar. Pappi remarked that the satisfaction displayed by the public with the two-year tenure of the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state signifies a desire to replicate this success on a national level, particularly due to disillusionment with the BJP government's policies.
