Rakhi Making Activity organized

Ludhiana, August 20, 2021:`Raksha Bandhan' or 'Rakhi' is the most endearing way to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions.
To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi Making Activity was organized virtually and physically for the students of Nursery to Grade II at DCM Presidency School, Elementary Campus, Ludhiana.
The tiny tots looked beautiful dressed in traditional attire. Several activities like Colouring , Role play and Rakhi making, were organized to make the students understand the true essence of this festival and the sacred relation of a brother and a sister.
The teacher explained the significance of the festival and narrated the story behind the tradition of rakhi that symbolizes Raksha which means protection and bandhan means bond.
The students participated with zeal in the celebration and made beautiful Rakhis using different articles like silken thread, Bindis ,ribbon, stars ,mirrors, etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side which got appreciation of the teachers, Coordinators and  Head Elementary.
