Rally conveying message of drug-free society conducted in village Johlan

Jalandhar: Realizing the growing need of Social awareness regarding the problem of drugs, an awareness drive under the directions of Principal Lyallpur Khalsa College Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra was conducted by the NSS Unit of the college. 

As a part of the ongoing 7-day NSS Camp, a rally conveying the message of a drug-free society was conducted in the village Johlan and the same was led by Baba Harjinder Singh Chahwale and Prof. Tarsem Singh, Incharge NSS Unit. Participant students from the college took on an active role in the rally and also conducted a cleanliness drive in various public places of the village. 

Speakers on this occasion, namely, Baba Harjinder Singh Chahwale , Prof. Tarsem Singh and Prof. Satpal Singh briefed the students about the menace of drugs and the crucial role of the NSS Units regarding awareness on this issue. On behalf of the residents of Johlan, Prof. Manjinder Singh Johal formally thanked the NSS team for their efforts in the village. Dr Priyank Sharda was also a part of this program./Rajat Kumar
