Rally dedicated to beti bachao beti padhao mission

Mohali, December 7, 2019: Ashmah International School, Sector 70 organized awareness rally for the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao mission. Chairman of the school J S Kesar flagged off the rally from the school. The rally went through the neighborhood area sector 70 and phase 7. The participants in the rally were holding placards with different slogans in local and global language depicting the importance of girl child in the society. Nukkad Natak was also staged to highlight the importance of saving and educating the girl child. The aim of this rally was to spread awareness in the society and remove differences between boys and girls from public mind. Chairman of the school J S Kesar said at the moment that saving the girl child is not the sole responsibility of the government but of the whole society. There is an urgent need for both the government and the society to come forward and work together for this campaign. Any type of imbalance in society proves fatal. He further added that Female foeticide is not only a crime against law, but also a stigma on humanity. Innovative and high-end technologies also not misused for killing the girl child.
