Jalandhar, February 5, 2025: Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club LKC organized a Rally to spread awareness regarding HIV/AIDS.
Principal Dr. Suman Chopra in her message stated that there is a lack of knowledge of HIV/AIDS in India among adults which needs to be increased through the mass events by involving youth. She advised the students to maintain a healthy lifestyle and engage in physical activities. Later, she flagged off the rally.
Chief NSS Program Officer Prof. Prof. Satpal Singh said that this rally was organized under the directions of Youth Services, Govt. of Punjab. He further informed that during this 4 km rally the volunteers raised slogans and showed posters. The rally started from college to Defence Colony via Hargobindpura and Sanjh Kendra and ended at college gate.
Kanwar Sukhit Singh Office Supdt. and Surinder Kumar Chalotra P.A. to Principal were also present on this occasion.
