Ramani  Precision wins two  MSME National Awards

Mohali, July 2, 2022: Ramani Precision Pvt Ltd Mohali recently won 2 National Awards on 30th June’ 2022 at National MSME Awards-2022 organised by the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, which were presented by  Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The company won the first prize in Manufacturing Category which was received by Rahul Verma – Director Technical, and the Award for excellence in Export Category was received by Manik Verma – Director Engineering.

Ramani Precision Machines Pvt. Ltd. Mohali is a 30 year-old company started by Mr. Hari Om Verma, Founder & Managing Director, who worked in Engineering industries for 23 years before starting this enterprise in 1991. His journey to success started from selling a plot in 1991 & owning a world class factory now.

On the occasion, Rahul Verma said, “A drive for perfection in all areas, world class standards & our outstanding performance made us win 2 national awards. It is a proud moment for us all.”

“The first breakthrough came in 1998 when Ramani accepted a challenge from automotive giant Delphi – General Motors USA & executed the unique project successfully which was certified to be ‘First time in the World,” he said. With the success of this challenge, Mr.Verma had received a National Award from then Prime Minister – Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji in 2000.

“Interestingly, the name – RAMANI – comes from the first letters of names  RA – from Rahul & MANI - from Manik,” he said.
Rahul Verma did his B. Tech in Computer Engineering from Kurukshetra University & joined Ramani in 1999. Mr. Manik Verma, B. Tech from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, went to Maruti Suzuki & worked there for 3 years in the Production Engineering department. He joined the family business of Ramani in 2005.

“Since then, in the footsteps of our father Mr. Hari Om Verma, we have been working tirelessly for the growth of the company & taking it to new heights. Taking it as a passion, the intensity of hard work has been coupled with normal working hours,” he added.

“Today more than 60% of revenue comes from Exports of High Technology Equipments & Automation Systems being developed by in-house designs involving no foreign collaboration. Hence, instead of drainage of Foreign Exchange, Ramani is actively promoting the – Make In India – program envisaged by our Prime Minister,” he said.

Over the years, Ramani has jumped from 10 people to 100 people, from drawing boards to 3D & high technology designs, latest electrical engineering & software development & modern manufacturing facilities. So many prestigious projects have been executed for various multinational companies in India & abroad.

“Again after 22 years, Ramani Pvt Ltd received the coveted MSME National Awards. It’s another feather in our cap and a huge achievement for the Ramani Team.
