Ramgarhia Educational Council commemorates Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji
The Ramgarhia Educational Council celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 555th Parkash Utsav with great devotion and exuberance. The Nagar Kirtan was taken out on Thursday.
Ludhiana, November 14, 2024: The Ramgarhia Educational Council celebrated the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 555th Parkash Utsav with great devotion and exuberance. The Nagar Kirtan was taken out on Thursday.
All the Singh Sabhas, Seva Societies, Women Satsang Sabha, Sri Sukhmani Sahib Seva Society, Religious and Political organisations of the city; the members of Youth Wing Scholars, Advocates, Doctors, Nihang Singhs, and Principals, the faculty members, and students from Ramgarhia Educational Institutions took part in it. The Nagar Kirtan was led by Panj Pyaras (Five Beloveds) under the patronage of "Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji." The holy procession started from Ramgarhia Gurudwara Sahib, and passing through Vishwakarma Chowk, it covered Gill Road, Partap Chowk, and its adjoining areas and came back to Gurudwara Sahib. The routes were beautifully decorated by the sangat, and the provision of "langar" was made at several places.
Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council, urged the gathering to follow the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji while eliminating all superstitions and dogmas.
Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, REC, asserted that one must incorporate the divine principles into their lives to build a harmonious society.
Ranjodh Singh and Gurcharan Singh Lotey, and the other members of REC presented 'saropao' to the distinguished guests, on the culmination of the Nagar Kirtan.
The 'Sri Akhand Path' of Sacred Guru Granth Sahib Ji began on Wednesday at Ramgarhia Gurudwara Sahib and will conclude with a katha kirtan samagam on Friday at Baba Gurmukh Singh Hall of Ramgarhia Girls College.
