Ramgarhia Educational Council feels honoured to present the ‘Lifetime achievement award’ to Giani Teg Bahadur Singh ‘Teg’ in a simple ceremony at his home on November 30, 2020. Here are some of his achievements. He is a triple MA with Masters in Punjabi, English and Sikh Studies. The last one he did when he was 80 years old. He has written many books in ‘Rubiyat’ form of poetry, which is rare these days, including complete works on Sukhmani Sahib. He has done more than 900 Sehaj Paaths of holy Guru Granth Sahib, and during lockdown he spent more than six hours in Japuji, Sukhmani Sahib, nitnem and Sehaj paath. He sons run factories, established by him, making precision grinders. Riat Grinders. Yesterday on Gurpurab, I asked him, ‘how old are you?’ He said cheerfully, “At 92, I am in charhdi kala.”
