Ramgarhia Girls College organises 48th Annual Athletic Meet

Ludhiana, March 16, 2019: Ramgarhia Girls College organized its 48th Annual Athletic Meet today. S.Avtar Singh Bhogal, MD Bhogal Sons marked his presence as the Chief Guest.
Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Inderjit Kaur, S.Ranjodh Singh, President, S.Gurcharan Singh Lotey, General Secretary, Ramgarhia Educational Council, accorded a warm welcome to the eminent guest. Principals of different schools running under the Ramgarhia Educational Council marked their presence on the occasion. The prominent guest unfurled the college flag and took the salute from the march past. Around 500 students took part in the event and participants of each team were divided into players and non-players. Various events like 50,100,200,400,800 Meter Relay were organized. The students enthusiastically took part in recreational events like Trolly Race, Spoon and potato Race, Three Legged Race, Chatti Race, Skipping on the spot, Sack Race. Lovepreet Kaur(Sports category) and Sukhpreet Kaur(Non-sports category) were adjudged the best athletes. S. Avtar Singh Bhogal gave away prizes to the winning participants and congratulated the students on putting up a great show. S Ranjodh Singh lauded the zealous participation of the students and added that this event not only tests the capabilities of the students but also proves to be fun –filled experience for them.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Inderjit Kaur felicitated the organizers Mrs. Rajeshwarpal Kaur, Head of the Dept. Physical Education and Mrs. Jasbir Kaur, for making this event a success with their commendable efforts. S.Gurcharan Singh Lotey extended a vote of thanks to the worthy guest of the day.
