Rohtak, March 25, 2025: Rang Srujan, a two-day program dedicated to creative fine arts concluded today at MDU, Rohtak.

 

Under Rang Mahotsav, the Visual Arts Department conducted this Rang Srujan event, in which the participants made beautiful paintings, took and displayed wonderful photographs, displayed face painting and handicraft work. The students of the Visual Arts Department also sold these products by making beautiful decorative items. The students enthusiastically decorated the venue with art decor under the guidance of Rang Srujan coordinator Sanjay Kumar.

 

In the closing ceremony, the chief guest, Dr. Sharanjit Kaur, President of the Indian Rehabilitation Council, praised the event and said that art removes monotony from life and brings happy colors in life. She said that students can also earn a living by using their creativity. Dr. Sharanjit Kaur called for working for the preservation of art, especially folk art. She expressed hope that in future the Rang Srujan event will earn fame at the national and international level. She also awarded the winners of various competitions held in Rang Srujan.

 

HOD Sanjay Kumar expressed his gratitude and gave detailed information about the event. Student Krishika Chhabra conducted the stage. The students also presented colourful cultural activities. Department professors Dr. Anjali Duhan, Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Praveen Kumar supported the event. Students of Visual Arts Department, DLC SUPVA and Government PG College for Women participated in the painting workshop organized during the event.

 

Chief Warden Girls Prof. Sapna Garg, Director CCPC Prof. Divya Malhan, Director University Outreach Prof. Anju Dhiman, Director Public Relations Sunit Mukherjee, Rang Kalam coordinator Dr. Sunita Saini, Warden Sunita Malhan, PRO Pankaj Nain, folk culture artist Raghuvendra Malik were present on the occasion.
