New Delhi, February 24, 2022: Punjab VS Haryana match started today at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Haryana won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first Punjab Team scored 368 runs losing their 5 wickets in 88 overs in the first innings before the stumps for day 1.
For Punjab batsmen Anmol Malhotra scored 100 runs of 128 balls with help of 14 boundaries and 2 Sixes, Mandeep Singh was at the crease unbeaten at 130 runs in 222 balls with help of 13 boundaries and 2 Sixes , he was accompanied by Sanvir Singh on the other end at 23 runs in 31 balls before the day’s play ended.
For Haryana bowlers Anshul Kamboj claimed 2 wickets giving away 83 runs, AK Chahal took 2 wickets giving away 55 runs and HJ Rana took 1 wicket giving away 14 runs.
