Ration has been delivered to the trapped sheep herders in Bada Bhangal
The district administration is trying its best to provide help to every section affected by the recent heavy rains. District Magistrate Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal said that the administration had received information about some sheep herders getting stranded on the way to Bada Bhangal. The administration, taking quick action on this, has made ration available to the sheepherders.
Dharamsala, Ju;y 16, 2023: The district administration is trying its best to provide help to every section affected by the recent heavy rains. District Magistrate Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal said that the administration had received information about some sheep herders getting stranded on the way to Bada Bhangal. The administration, taking quick action on this, has made ration available to the sheepherders.
Talking to the media in Dharamsala on Sunday, he informed that 21 ration kits have been made available by the administration for the sheepherders. Each kit contains 20 kg flour, 10 kg rice along with essential items of daily needs like oil, salt, pulses, sugar, tea etc. He said that under the leadership of Tehsildar Multhan Purna Chand Kaundal, and other employees ,they themselves went to the spot and took cognizance of the sheep herders and distributed essential items to them. He said that apart from this all possible help will be provided to them.
Dr. Nipun Jindal said that instructions have been given to BDO Baijnath for speedy repair of Bada Bhangal road. He said that the administration is working with full sensitivity to provide relief to all the people and sections affected by the rains. He said that instructions have been given to provide immediate relief to the people affected by the rains in the district.
Bara Banghal is a remote valley situated at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level in the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas.
