Sony SAB’s fresh launch, Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein…with Alia continues to spread joy among the viewers especially during the times where ‘Kuch Smiles’ is the need of the hour. This short format show witnessed several old and current family members of the channel, come together to entertain the audience through fun-filled and exciting tasks while being at home.
 
The show is hosted by Sony SAB’s debutant Anusha Mishra and immensely talented comedian Balraj Syal. Being Anusha Mishra’s second show on the channel where she brings the magic of her character Alia on-screen, Anusha is completely in awe of the experience of shooting in this new normal and working with her co-star Balraj Syal.
 
Anusha sharing her experience with the show, said, “Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein…with Alia has been another learning curve for me. I am fortunate that I have worked with such experienced artistes who made it easy for me to settle in. Working with Balraj has been a phenomenal experience. He is exceptionally quick-witted with a great sense of humour. His quality of being so quick with his responses has been a boon while shooting the episodes. We shot over 4 episodes and I got a chance to meet several Sony SAB artistes. I usually take some time to get comfortable around new people and I was awestruck about how easily Balraj communicated with all of them and eased me into it as well.”
 
Talking about the learnings from the show, Anusha shared, “Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein…with Alia is one of the rare experiences that an artiste will ever get. I am glad I got the chance to experience what shooting in the new normal would feel like. As an actor, who is usually surrounded by so many people suddenly became a one-man show. Handling all the technicalities by myself and especially doing my hair and makeup has been my biggest hurdle. This show presented itself when we all were eagerly waiting to be in front of the camera, it challenged us to think out of the box and get creative and gave us all an entirely new experience filled with laughter and joy.”
 
Anusha further added, “I hope Kuch Smiles Ho Jayein…with Alia has managed to create an equally special place in people’s heart like it did in mine. I look forward to going back to the shooting schedule but till then while we are all at home, Kyun Na Kuch Smiles Hi Ho Jayein?”
