Recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt from January 2 next

Jalandhar/Ferozepur, December 26, 2012: The Sikh Regimental Centre Ramgarh Cantt (Jharkhand) will be organising a recruitment rally at Ramgarh Cantt for Son of servicemen/Son of Ex-servicemen/Son of Widows/Son of War Widows for enrolment of Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesmen from 02 Jan 2013 to 03 Jan 2013. 

No recruitment will be carried out in open category.  All Sikh candidates except Mazbi, Ramdasia, SC and ST from any states/UT of India (only for relationship candidates) can appear for Soldier General Duty category. 

As regards screening for Soldier Trademan,  All India All Castes  candidates from Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Orissa, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and  Maharahtra (only relationship candidates) can apply.     

For General Duty Soldiers,  candidate should have class X pass with min 32% marks in each subject and 45% marks in aggregate. The candidate should be between 17 ½ -21 years of age for Soldier General Duty category and 17 ½  to 23 years for Soldier Tradesmen category.

Candidates are required to bring their original educational certificate marks sheet, Residence certificate, Caste certificate issued from Sub Divisional Magistrate/Tehsildar.  School character certificate in original issued by Headmaster/village Sarpanch (within six months from the date of issue) and Sports/NCC certificate, if held.  Candidates from Kandi area should bring their Kandi Area certificate (only declared by Central Government and not by State Government in case candidates hailing from Punjab hills).  Candidates from J&K must be in possession of state subject certificate.

Candidates should bring 12 copies of their latest passport size colour photographs where as Sikh candidates should bring 12 copies of their photographs with turban and 12 copies without turban.  Candidates should also bring their family photographs of all members duly verified by the village sarpanch with stamp affixed and paste on the reverse side of the character/pre-verification certificate.
