Red to Saffron in North-East States big achievement of BJP: Ravinder Kaplish

Ludhiana, March 4, 2018: BJP Punjab co-media in-charge Ravinder Kaplish has said the party's victory in North-East states was due to its ground-level works. He termed this victory as the victory of development and ideology.

In a statement here on Sunday, he added that BJP not only gave a great setback to Left Parties that had been in power for the last 25 years but also pushed back Congress that had been the main opposition party.

He said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's personal interest and the BJP's aggressive ground-level work had led the outcome of these results in North-East states. He added BJP had put all out efforts for strengthening the party in these states. He said this was not the victory on the basis of numbers alone but this was the victory of ideology of BJP. The results had shown that Congress had lost its vote bank, he said.

He predicted that these poll results would put a larger impact on the party's strategy in the future. He said the results had proved that PM Narendra Modi had proved successful in letting people of North-East states to understand the meaning of development. At the same time, the organisational policies of the party president Amit Shah had also yielded the positive results.
Kaplish said these poll results would give a further boost morale of the party workers during the forthcoming assembly elections in some states. He added this victory would prove successful in making Modi's dream of "Congress-mukt" nation. At the same time, it would give further strength "sabka saath sabkaa vikas" in the minds of people.
