Love is an emotion that is often misunderstood but overwhelming. The journey of finding one’s soulmate is interesting, can be exhausting and overwhelming too. What makes it noteworthy is the first date, the first fight, the spark of jealousy, and the journey of finding out if this love will be for life. MX Player recently released the trailer of its original show Roohaniyat Chapter 2, which captures the show's intriguing theme - “Is Forever Love, A Lie”.
The show's lead actor, Arjun Bijlani, who plays the role of Saveer in the show, shared his experience of love from reel vs real life. Saveer, who always thinks that ‘Forever is a Lie’ and is trying to re-establish his faith in love, shares an altogether different experience with his real-life partner Neha Swami. Arjun, who was instantly charmed by Neha’s beauty and simplicity, loves spending time with his wife and son, Ayaan. The couple often shares glimpses of their happy moments with their fans on social media.
For Roohaniyat’s promotion, a couple of months ago, Arjun had posted - "Forever is a lie" and captioned the post with a broken-heart emoticon. The news spread worldwide within seconds, leaving the fans wondering if everything was okay in his married life or not? The actor further clarified the doubts of his fans via sharing a post that everything is all good in his love life with Neha Swami
Speaking on the show, Arjun Bijlani said, "I believe that 'Forever can be True' for everyone and it's not necessarily a lie always. Yes, for me, it is true and I hope it stays the same way. I feel it is important in any relationship to be friends first and have a strong bond to be able to connect well with each other. Things become easier if you are good friends and believe in doing little things for your partner is key to any relationship. If you take care of the smaller things for your partner, it definitely helps maintain a connection. I also personally enjoy doing little cute things for Neha whenever I get time. I may not be perfect, but I love making that effort to keep Neha happy and eventually, it will make our relationship even stronger."
Roohaniyat is a journey of two opposite individuals, one who thinks ‘Forever is a lie’ and the other who believes ‘Forever is true.’ Chapter 2 will take the viewers on a mysterious journey yet again with all the significant twist of events in Prisha and Saveer’s life. The 14-episodic series will release three episodes every Friday at 11 AM, starting 22nd July.
