Renowned actor Karthikeya Reddy inaugurates Godrej Interio’s flagship store in Jubilee Hills – Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 10, 2022: Godrej & Boyce, the flagship company of the Godrej Group, announced that its business Godrej Interio, India’s leading furniture and interior solutions brand launched a new outlet in Hyderabad, the city of pearls. Spread across a sprawling 4,000 sq. ft, this state-of-the-art store was launched by celebrated actor Karthikeya Reddy. The stores will provide an impetus to Godrej Interio’s retail presence in Telangana and southern India markets.

The store offers specially crafted products in home storage and interior solutions - the largest selling category in India, in different styles and finishes. Godrej Interio, as a part of its omni channel expansion strategy, over the next few months, will also launch a franchisee outlet at Kompally Hyderabad.

Speaking on the importance of city market, Subodh Mehta, Senior Vice President (B2C), Godrej Interio, said, “Godrej Interio has a strong foothold in Telangana market owing to its huge brand recall and significant customer base in the region. In the recent years, this ‘City of Pearls’ has attracted leading interior brands from around the world. We are confident that the region will certainly provide more to our revenue basket in the near future. Owing to the excellent location of the store in a prime business area and Godrej Interio’s strong growing brand recall in the region, we expect the store revenues to touch nearly Rs. 300 Lakh in the first year.

On an average, we generate a business of around INR 80 crores from Telangana market as we are present across all furniture segments commanding a market share of 12%. We plan to open another 7 outlets in the state by the end of F.Y.23 and plan to grow by 22% in the next three years. Due to the strong brand recognition, we are certain that the brand will further expand the customer base bringing more patrons into the rapidly expanding Godrej Interio family.”
