Modi expressed these views as a special speaker in the News Production and Content Creation Workshop organized in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of MDU, Rohtak.

Also, to develop understanding related to news, it is necessary to study newspapers, news magazines and books. Renowned media person, former editor (The Indian Express, Pioneer) Parveen K. Modi expressed these views as a special speaker in the News Production and Content Creation Workshop organized in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of MDU, Rohtak.
Eminent media person Parveen K. Modi explained in detail the things necessary for news production. He said that before finalizing the news, all the relevant facts must be confirmed. He said that print media is still relevant today. The invited speaker also threw light on the importance of news backgrounder and news analysis. There was also an interactive dialogue with the students in the program.
HOD Prof. Harish Kumar said that content creation is an art. To succeed this, students need to learn the nuances of news presentation along with linguistic skills.
At the beginning of the workshop, Professor Sunit Mukherjee gave the welcome speech. Mukherjee said that students will have to develop news sense. There is a need for students to seriously develop an understanding of news.
Dr. Naveen Kumar expressed gratitude and said that content is the most important aspect in print, electronic and digital media. He advised students to develop technical skills. Research scholar Priya gave a detailed introduction of the invited special speaker Parveen K. Modi. Earlier, yesterday Parveen K. Modi interacted with the research scholars of the department and gave valuable tips on newspaper production. Assistant Professor Dr. Meenu of Government PG Nehru College, Jhajjar, Assistant Professor Dr. Sumit of Lal Nath Hindu College, Rohtak and research scholars and students of the department attended this workshop.
